Born from Friendship, Built on Silk, Crafted with Care
Our story began during a time when the world slowed down the COVID-19 pandemic. Two childhood friends, Abeer & Kiran, found themselves reconnecting over a shared dream: to build something meaningful, beautiful, and entirely their own.
Both friends came from families with a background in the textile business a legacy they understood and appreciated from a young age. Kiran's family was involved in textiles and also dabbled in tailoring, especially during COVID when there was a growing need for masks and custom fabric products. This practical exposure, combined with a shared entrepreneurial spirit, set the foundation for what was to come.
At the time, Abeer was struggling with skin sensitivity caused by harsh mask fabrics and began exploring gentler alternatives. She sourced soft, silky fabric and asked Kiran if they could create masks using it. The result was immediate her skin improved noticeably. Encouraged by the results, she transitioned to using silk pillowcases and discovered the comfort and benefits of sleeping on silk.
Inspired by this experience, she proposed an idea: why not create a brand dedicated to luxurious, skin-friendly silk products that combine beauty, functionality, and care? With a blend of creativity, heritage, and purpose, the two friends launched their brand turning a personal solution into a premium offering for everyone.
